Parking Brake Actuator is a “motor-on-caliper” system that integrates Actuator in the caliper mounted on the rear wheel and operates the Caliper directly without a separate parking cable. The existing water/foot parking lever is removed and the parking function is able to be performed with a simple button. It is a next-generation parking brake system that provides the driver with convenience and safety by enabling active control through linkage with the control system of the vehicle.

Advancements in automotive technology provide greater functionality and expanded features but also can create new failure modes in certain systems.
